Innovative Benefit Planning is currently seeking a Health Coach to provide individual wellness coaching to our clients' employees in an effort to cultivate long-lasting healthy lifestyles.  Innovative, is an employee benefit planning and financial services company that builds trust; trust from our clients who have the peace of mind we urgently resolve their issues, and trust in each other that we all have a role in our interdependent system of superior customer service.

Within the past year, we have renovated and relocated to a state-of-the-art building designed to provide superior service that facilitates communication and collaboration. This unique layout is designed specifically for our staff.

Innovative Wellness is a rapidly growing practice with the mission of promoting healthy lifestyles that in turn support a work environment that is conducive to success.  Our coaches assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver health promotion activities designed specifically for our client's company culture and employee population.  Whether it's a company-wide or individual solution, our programs develop a wellness coaching relationship that fosters positive behavior change and customer satisfaction.

Our modern headquarters is located in Moorestown, NJ, just minutes outside of Philadelphia.

  •          In conjunction with an onsite health evaluation, provide effective individualized coaching around disease management and health education to our clients.
  •          Review biometric results and health risk assessment data with coaching clients.
  •          Assess individuals' readiness to change and employ supportive strategies that will overcome resistance. 
  •          Identify co-morbid conditions, prescription medications and high risk behaviors that could impact the client health needs.
  •          Set goals, educate on healthy behaviors and be there for our clients.
  •          Coach & counsel participants to make lasting life style changes to achieve and maintain optimal health.
  •          Use health care expertise to assist clients with navigating the health system, interpreting physician instructions, and maintaining medication compliance.
  •          Coordinate care with other health-related vendors for optimal patient care.
  •          Develop and conduct wellness seminars and training courses for employers, interested employees and their families.
  •          Assist with projects related to corporate wellness as directed by Wellness Coordinator.
  •          Maintain detailed chart notes appropriate to client status and progress.


  •          Bachelor's degree or higher in health promotion, health education, nursing, athletic training, nutrition or counseling.  Experience as a Wellness Coach preferred.
  •          Must have well-developed emotional and social competencies including strong interpersonal communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
  •          Knowledge of specific disease and lifestyle related topics such as smoking cessation weight management, nutrition, pre-post-natal care, stress reduction and chronic conditions.
  •          Must have the ability to interpret and discuss the results of a Health Risk Assessment and biometric screenings effectively with clients.
  •          Demonstrated ability to not only educate but to motivate and inspire individuals to make positive health changes that will improve their life.
  •          Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, creativity and the energy to go above and beyond for our clients
  •          Means to travel locally to onsite locations for consultations, presentations, or health fairs.
  •          Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications including MS Office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel and multiple other applications such as databases.
