Innovative Benefit Planning is currently seeking a Wellness and Population Health   Manager. Innovative Wellness is a rapidly growing practice with the mission of promoting healthy lifestyles that in turn support a work environment that is conducive to success.  Our program manager assesses, builds, plans, coordinates, and delivers health promotion activities designed specifically for our client's company culture and employee population.  Whether it's a company-wide or individual solution, our programs develop a wellness relationship with our clients that fosters positive behavior change and customer satisfaction. The goal of this position is to improve the health and wellness opportunities and outcomes of the client populations we serve while increasing accessibility of care and reducing costs.

 

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with biometric testing, health risk assessments and the analysis of claims data, provide effective individualized initiatives around disease management and health education for our clients.
  • Coordinate initiatives to improve performance against client contract metrics.
  • Responsible for deliverables of client engagements, including project timelines and logistics
  • Identify co-morbid conditions, prescription medications and high-risk behaviors that could impact the client health needs.
  • Coordinate and provide coaching/counseling participants to make lasting life style changes to achieve and maintain optimal health.
  • Use health care expertise to assist clients with navigating the health system, interpreting physician instructions, and maintaining medication compliance.
  • Act as a data and technical resource for clients and sales team as applicable
  • Develop and conduct wellness seminars and training courses for employers, interested employees and their families.
  • Providing subject-matter expertise in program development.
  • Keeping abreast of current industry, market, and policy landscape 

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Advanced Degree in public health, health administration, public administration, nursing or a related field or process with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years' management experience.
  • Clinical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of health care, health insurance, and health policy.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Demonstrates understanding of healthcare metrics and use of analytical skills.
  • Experience with predictive modeling.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial outlook with strong collaborations skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and lead client interactions at C-level.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent MS Office skills with particular expertise in both Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team player, excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
