Description:  

Innovative Investment Fiduciaries, Innovative Benefit Planning's (IBP,LLC) Retirement Benefits practice, is seeking a VP level candidate to be the business practice lead.  This position will provide guidance, advice and solutions that help our employees empower our clients to take charge of their financial lives. 

Along with the senior management team, the practice lead will develop and drive business strategies that are in line with Innovative's annual strategy development process and will yield profitable growth, increased productivity along with the ongoing relationship building and retention of our Retirement Plan clients.

 

  • Manages and oversees IBP's Retirement services.
  • Governs strategic & financial goals and objectives and develops mechanisms to evaluate performance and provide periodic updates to senior management.
  • Coordinate all resources when situation calls for inter-company collaboration involving sales, marketing and operations teams.
  • Understand drivers and develops action plans to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Enhances existing client relationships with multiple levels within our client's organization.
  • Analyzes performance data and proactively contacts clients to provide advice, planning and support outside of day-to-day and "standard" recordkeeping needs.
  • Leads initiatives throughout IIF that complement the business responsible for providing competitive, analytical and financial insights to both our internal and external clients.
  • Manages and participates in final presentations, client meetings and requests for proposals and where needed.
  • Project manages specific strategic initiatives.
  • Implements and oversees the Financial Wellness initiative.

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the retirement plan, insurance, and/or benefits field.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • Current Series 7 / 66 / 65 license.
  • Proficiency with many Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • 6+ years proven client relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Professional designations (i.e., CHFC, CFP, AIF, QPA, QKA etc.) a plus
  • Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and understanding of our industry.
  • Experience following up with work assignments.
  • Strong analytic, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Broad financial acumen with financial modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance, retirement plans and/or independent broker-dealer operations.
