Innovative Benefit Planning  (Innovative) is a well-respected and dynamic employee benefit and financial services company located in Moorestown, NJ. 

We are seeking additional talent to assist with account management and client service in our Retirement Benefits division.  Retirement Plan Account Managers provide expertise through the customer engagement phase as well as in the ongoing relationship and retention of our Retirement Plan clients.

We have recently expanded again and purchased, renovated and relocated to a state-of-the-art building in Moorestown, NJ (minutes from Philadelphia), designed to provide superior service to our clients by facilitating employee communication and collaboration.

The Retirement Plan Account Manager position is one of the most critical and high-profile jobs within the organization.  It is the one position that directly supports the Benefit Consultants during the sales phase of the business; then, once the account is sold, assumes complete responsibility for both the technical maintenance and the promotion of a very positive experience between Innovative and our clients.  Consequently, the ability to process and resolve several different tasks at the same time is essential.  Since part of our core values is to "put people first", a positive and supportive attitude is essential when delivering timely and accurate services to our clients and when coordinating or facilitating the actions of your team. 

Sales Presentations:

  • Contact vendors to obtain quotes, understanding the nuances and differences of each vendor's offerings in order to solicit timely and accurate information. 
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure that quotes arrive to coincide with sales presentation deadlines.
  • Analyze quotes to ensure that information is complete and matches client demographics and their requested services; communicate that information on a timely basis to the Benefit Consultant.
  • Prepare/assist with the preparation of the sales presentation to the prospective client.

 Implementation & Renewals:

  • Oversee and verify that all new client company information is correctly entered into the Innovative database.
  • Communicate with the client, emphasizing that you are the point of contact.  Introduce yourself and Innovative services.
  • Prepare all client materials, i.e. "announcement flyers, PowerPoint presentations, benefit guides, enrollment kits."
  • Organize, coordinate and participate in enrollment meetings.
  • Manage the implementation process with outside vendors and plan sponsors.
  • Conduct annual reviews of plans to strive for optimal client account performance.

Client Relations:

  • Provide telephonic and/or in-person support for retirement plan sponsors, participants and potential participants.
  • Assist sponsors and participants with administrative processes.
  • Provide positive user experiences and excellent ongoing account service.
  • Communicate to the Benefit Consultants and other related service team members the progress towards achieving a positive resolution to client problems and questions.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following skills/experience:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in the retirement plan field.
  • Current Series 7 / 66 / 65 license is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products and Salesforce.
  • A sense of urgency and ownership in all you do.
  • Strong analytic, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage several different assignments and responsibilities at the same time.
  • A willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and understanding of our industry.
  • The ability to effectively interact and communicate with plan sponsors, external vendors, plan participants, and internal team members. 
  • Flexibility with working hours that, at times, may require evening and weekend work.
  • The ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
